Call to order: Joe Weigandt, president
Secretary report: Minutes of the May 17, 2026, meeting were read by Board member Pam Upper in the absence of the secretary. Motion to approve minutes as read; seconded; approved.
Treasurer Report: The treasurer reported balances as of, May 31, 2026 in the followig accounts: General Operating Acct.; New Plants acct.; five-year Reserve STUDY acct.; Reserve acct. Motion to approve the treasurer’s report as presented, seconded; carried. A complete copy of the treasurer’s report is filed with these minutes.
Social Committee Report: Reminded all present about the German Township Emergency Medical Squad BBQ fundraiser in the afternoon; expressed thank-you for residents who provided the desserts for the event.
Member-at-Large report, Bob Gage: Ohio EPA requires micro water testing twice a year and requires that test results be provided to all residents (copies distributed at that time in the meeting); low water pressure 3 wks ago was due to flushing of the water lines by our service provider Blessings, per EPA rules; RE plumbing trouble at the Barn, toilet repairs and flushing of the plumbing system have been completed. All who use the Party Barn for social functions‑‑including those who rent the facility for a private function‑‑must remember that items other than toilet paper cause major clogging. Nothing except human waste and ordinary toilet paper should be flushed into the sewer system. Be advised that wipes, paper towels, etc. are to be disposed of via trash can (as well as in our houses). Neglect to follow this policy can easily lead to major repairs with high cost to our operating budget. Our service provider Winelco has replaced one discharge pump at sewer plant at cost of $1150. Electrical problems at the Barn have been repaired; lights and outlets now working.
Maintenance report from V.P. Herman Schiller: Buck’s Tree Service hired to remove a storm-damaged tree; as much as possible, bring routine fallen branches to the curb area of your property; if the branches are too big to manage, notify Herman; working on porch railings that are unstable or damaged in other ways.
Comments from the President: President announced that the Greenlawn Village Codominium Owners website is completed; residents are encouraged to check it out. Maintenance forms can be found at the site and printed out there. Also, June is month for owners to recommend nominees for election to two Board positions that will become open to be voted upon in July (Weigandt and Alexander to complete their two-year terms then). No nominations were offered; no one present volunteered to serve on the Assn. Board;
Floor opened to comments from Owners: All owners present were reminded that the procedure to ask for maintenance (i.e. maintenance that is Assn). responsibility is to complete a printed maintenance request form‑‑including the owner’s signature, address, and the date the request is made, as well as the description of the problem and what is needed. Maintenance request forms are available at the regular owner meetings and via the west-side Barn window. A request in writing from the owner is the procedure to inform the Board of the problem and provide the details they need to make decisions RE maintenance requests.
Motion to adjourn: JW; seconded; carried.
Meeting adjourned at 10:38 a.m.
